UWA MBA and Graduate Certificate in Social Impact students and alumni are invited to join Karena Cameron for a special UWA Business School Alumni Speaker Series event.

Karena helps organizations in the public and private sectors realize their competitive advantage through human-centered design and innovation. She is an independent consultant in these fields and specializes in the intersection of people, profit and purpose.

Passionate about scaling disruptive solutions for a better world, Karena is currently engaged in projects around environmental sustainability, design for gender inclusion and optimizing the built environment for health and wellness. She is an active member of Richard Branson’s Virgin Unite community (the non-profit foundation of the Virgin Group) and has spoken at many conferences around the globe including the International Women’s Forum and the Ignite Conference for Cause Innovation.

In her past life, she led global campaigns for Sony Music recording artists, launched a television show in Australia and a successful advertising production company in New York City.

Karena graduated from UWA in 2000 with a Bachelor of Commerce and is currently living in New York.
